Recently, Bain Capital announced in Hong Kong that it would merge Chindata and Bridge Data Centers to establish Chindata Group. 

Chindata currently constructs and operates hyper-scale information technology infrastructure base clusters in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen respectively with Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau as the core, and operates 220+ operator computer rooms across the country. Bridge has data center facilities in Malaysia and India and is still deploying data centers in other Southeast Asian countries. After the merger of the two, Chindata Group's footprints will cover China, India and Southeast Asia, which will proffer Asian and global customers with hyper-scale customized data center solutions, and will effectively promote the development of the pan-Asian data center business.

At present, Chindata Group already has a contract capacity of more than 100 MW, and is in the process of expanding its investment in China and India, the world's two largest markets with expansion and scalability potential up to more than 300 MW in the next two years. It aims to provide services panning the entire Asian region, to reach a distinguished position in the market, and to become one of the largest independent third-party data center operation platforms in Asia.
